I've got to check out that Philosopheum one day..I am intrigued.
And what a beautiful scene you guys made- lovelylovely.
I can't wait to see what you end up making on SecondLife one day..
I will try to figure out how you can get a plot without landfees.
I got mine through a program called 'Land for the landless' and you had to put in an application and wait a few days and then you were 'assigned' a 512 lot for which you paid no fees. you could specify General preferences but there was no guarantee what you'd get. My little spot is in Luo...which is nice...but it's all developed around by big landowners who have a sort of marina theme and so I am going to just sell it to them. I've never built anything on it. haven't decided what I want ideally because I have so many contrasting ideas of what I'd like to build..and I'm not quite ready to involve myself in it timewise. I'm still exploring little bit by bit. But it would be nice to have a 'home'...Something by the water...

Have you got my email at last, regarding my 3D literature project?
Bryce is a software... :-)
It is sure I want to buy a land, but as I told you -- and like you just experienced -- I don't want to build my "home" in the middle of a theme park or club.
