Well, you know, the same people who resent any sort of laws at all regarding guns. Logic does not play into it (a deer shot with a machine gun won't be usable for eating or trophy display, but they need them for hunting, don't you know).

I'm kind of middle of the road on this. On the one hand, there's over-regulation. Certain types of guns, for hunting and whatnot, should not have to go through all sorts of hassle for people who wish to acquire them by legal means
