On the other hand, Iceland's yelling had upset Meriken a decent bit. Not only because she was the United States, and sensitive, but because he had hit some sore spots. Also, Iceland had said he was her support! She didn't expect him to turn on her like that. And yet he did, every time they spoke, nearly. She grumbled to herself a little, now, moving towards the door of her room. Why? Because night time walks helped her when she couldn't sleep.

But as she swung the door open, she found Iceland. Iceland, kneeling down to set something there. ..Was that a hamburger?

"...Uh. Iceland?"

Hello, Meriken wasn't the only who hit sore spots here. He was still pretty sore after that, and wondered why the hell did he sacrificed his precious sleep for her. He hoped that it'll appease her anger, though. If not, that's where his social charm comes in! Or not. Because now she was standing in front of her door, and he was kneeling there, like he was about to court her or something, and instead of saying something, he set down the note and hamburger hastily and took a few steps backwards instinctively. Of course he didn't expect her to show up!

She knows she hit sore spots as well. She feels bad, too, but her stubbornness keeps her from apologizing straight out, or anything of the sort. Besides, look, Iceland came to her. She's staring for a good few moments, down at the burger and the note, and back up at Iceland. After a few rounds of that, she blinks at Iceland.

"...Uh. What's this?"

Oh shit, she must have thought that he needs her or something along that lines. He shouldn't do that. He should have waited for her to apologize first even though he knew that it most likely wouldn't happen, at least not in a century, because she's stubborn. No, not like him. He's merciful and kind and definitely not a hypocrite. He could only stare back and took another step backwards, because he thought that she was going to abuse hit him or something. Imagine the shock he recieved when she asked in a civil way instead.

"That's...uhm." God, why did his voice had to emigrate halfway around the Universe when he need it? He clears his throat for a few times before trying to speak again. "Th-that's...for yesterday."

What is that he don't even. It's not even a decent explanation.
