Across the city near Sinfonia Park, the tolling of Rondo Clock was much fainter. The peaceful moonlit scene had been attractive to the outsiders who had sought to make sense of the strange city they'd come to. But tonight the usually quiet park was not empty. In a secluded clearing near the pond, a dozen dark-clad figures stood in a strange formation. In front of them, arms crossed and a scowl on his features, was the Ostinato Maestro himself.
"Again!" he shouted, and his Choir members reset the formation without an outward protest, unwilling to bring the ire of an angry Maestro upon them. Steps made inaudible on the dew-soaked grass, they once more started the militaristic drill. Three lines of four figures, moving forward in an intricate progression designed to provide cover. Their hands were positioned as though to hold instruments, yet they were empty. Perhaps the Maestro had ordered it so to prevent any accidental effects triggered by the Harmony.
It was clearly an offensive tactical drill -- but for what?
Mid-stride, the Ostinato Maestro calls for a halt. Something in the harmony has quivered, sending a thrill of predatory anticipation through him. "There's someone nearby! Spread out and find them! I want no witnesses!"
The Choir members dispersed, pulling their instruments from pockets and packs, and began the hunt.

[OOC: Second plot!log~ if you're character thought Sinfonia Park was a safe place to be tonight, guess again. They're going to be hunted down, so they'd better run! Have them hide, evade, trick, or anything they'd like to get away from the Choir! And if you get caught, you'd better have some intervention up your sleeve! Again, only going to be 1 (played) fatality, but there can be some close calls.]
