i feel like a thirty-something single woman.

i just got home from the office at almost 9pm, greeted my cat, ordered chinese food (for delivery, mind you), and turned on the tivo. on the couch. by myself.

wow.

good thing too, because she was the most interesting character of satc, even though cynthia nixon kind of bothers me.

I've been feeling that way a lot lately. More cooking for myself instead of ordering out but yeah.

We should go out and do something to break out of the funk.

yeah! how has it been since you've been here? what are you up to? find a job and stuff yet??

i'm gonna be probably pretty crazy busy until after our october 4th event for work (you should come! it's a wine tasting and concert for charity for only $25...all you can drink! bring friends!!). but if i find myself twiddling my thumbs before then, we should for sure get together! if not before, definitely after!

i wanna hear how it's been so far, though! how are you liking it here?

Things have been good since I moved. I'm definitely enjoying the changes. I've been keeping myself busy looking for work. I had a REALLY promising interview today so I'm hoping that works out.

The wine tasting sounds great. I think I'll mention it to a friend of mine (he's pretty into wine).

Whenever (before or after) the wine tasting is fine with me. :) You mentioned shows, what kind of music are you into? I ask because a friend of mine is an awesome musician and he lives in the LA area--he used to live in Atlanta--and I try to catch him whenever he plays. You should check him out (http://www.myspace.com/davidryanharris) although the recordings don't do him justice. His live shows are fantastic.

I just looked at my schedule and I realized I'll be traveling a bit more than originally thought (funny how even though it's written down I still didn't notice how much I'd actually be doing) so that (and hopefully work) will keep me pretty busy in the next few months.
