The library had become a regular haunt for Odette. She had spent hours just about everyday scouring the books on magic. There had to be some way to reverse Naveen's spell. There just had to be. But with every book, came more frustration as it dawned on her that she wasn't capable of doing any of these solutions. And Rothbart was gone, so there was no asking him.
But no! Odette was tired of relying on everyone to save her. She was going to do something for someone for a change. She sighed softly, plucking another book to add to her armful. The slamming book caught her offguard. She gasped and dropped the books, then cursed herself for being so easy to startle. After gathering her books, she peered around the bookshelf to find the source of the noise and looked noticeably relieved to see the little green frog.
"Princess Odette!" He looked much happier once he saw her. "I did not know you were here too, we could have studied together." He chuckled, hopping up onto a lower stack of books.
Odette smiled warmly as she rounded the corner and eased herself into the seat closest to him. She placed the book on a separate stack and pulled one down to study it. "It's nice to see you again," she said. "You haven't had any luck either, have you?" She sounded so disappointed too. She had really hoped she could find an answer for Naveen. But it just looked like it wasn't meant to be. And it was so terribly frustrating.

"Naveen?"

Well, he'd been reading for like two hours. But that's a lot of work for someone as lazy as Prince Naveen.
"In spite of all that effort, I have found nothing." He sighed.
