Erol didn't typically receive visitors with a polite knock. His most common visitor these days was Razer, and that most certainly was not him.

Glancing through the peephole, he was mildly surprised to see Zelda. But only mildly; on reflection, he had taunted Sheik last night.

Hmmm. Did his little whispers come home to roost? We'll just see.

Erol opens the door, looking for all the world like the cat who knows the mouse must come to him.

"Princess. To what do I owe the occasion?"

These weren't exactly pleasantries. It was actually really hard ever thinking of a time when it was a good visit to see Erol. In fact, they hadn't seen each other since that whole fiasco thing with Jak. Frustrating, it was to have to see him now. Sort of.

"Don't play coy with me," she replied sternly. "You know why I'm here."

She knew he knew. He had to know. Erol wasn't stupid.

"Mmmm. Do I."

Erol stepped back, giving her room to enter as he restlessly tossed a knife honer from one hand to the other. He doesn't gesture for her to come in, but leaves it to her to take the initiative.

He's playing hard to get.

"Humor me."

Her expression was a little too hard to be considered good. Zelda did not like it when Erol toyed with her. And as much as she wasn't sure she wanted to be caught in his room, for the situation it was necessary, rather than discussing it out in the open, which was exactly where she didn't want it.

Showing herself in, she didn't go about making herself comfortable. A sharp turn and she narrowed her eyes. She didn't have to be in regalia to still feel like herself. "I don't enjoy playtime with you. He told me. I know that you know."
