[Being away from home, away from a vicomte's responsibilities and activites, left Raoul with an overabundance of free time. There was only so much time he could spend with Christine, and he couldn't think of much else to do.

He's wandering along deck 12, absently glancing through the various 'wares,' when he hears the humming. He stops a small distance from the woman, just listening for a moment, before saying something.]

[Its easier to remember to speak in English when he can hear everyone else speaking it over the comms. Out on his own, he reverts to French.]

[Odette is humming quite happily. These clothes are all so odd, made from strange fabric. Did women really wear breeches in these other worlds? The princess was absolutely mortified at the thought.

She begins shifting through a pile of dresses when she finally hears footsteps, the sounds of someone approaching her. Odette freezes and straightens slowly. Her heart was racing and she tried her best to keep calm.

After her encounter with Drusilla, Odette is terribly wary of strangers. His accent is familiar. It reminds her of Jean-Bob. But the language was unfamiliar.]
