His blood was boiling. He was angry and there really would be no stopping him. He knew he was losing everything he had worked to accomplish. Any amicable relationship with Zelda was probably forever ruined. But that wasn't going to deter him. No, he was hellbent on making her regret her words.

"Then this should not be a surprise." And with that, he reached to take her by the wrist and pull her from her seat.

He reached for her. The book dropped and she immediately drew back when she felt him close the distance between them. She hardened her expression upon him and for all she wanted to concentrate any form of magic, she couldn't conjure anything into her palm.

"Harming me in any way will do nothing to accomplish any of your tasks. Are you so foolish to think you would get away with this?! Have you simply grown delusional?" Zelda pulled upon her hand, an attempt to pry his grip from her wrist. What concerned her most was the idea that he would simply draw the Triforce of Wisdom from her, which was something she could never allow.

Ganondorf could feel it, the Triforce of Power resonating against his hand, reacting to being so close to the Triforce of Wisdom. It was within his grasp and he paused only for a moment. He could so easily have it if he wanted it and the thought crossed his mind. Taking this from her would be much more beneficial than any act of violence. With it, he'd be closer to accomplishing his plans.

His grip tightened when he thought she would pull away. "Certainly cannot have you escaping, now can we?"

Jak had heard the sound of furniture breaking and the alarm in Zelda's voice over the comm. He was still far from healed, practically useless in every way, a hindrance at best.

But he couldn't sit by and let Ganon hurt her. Even if he'd pushed her away for her own sake, he couldn't ignore his feelings and his protectiveness towards her, and so he limped and dragged himself to deck nine, pale and damp with sweat by the time he finally slams the doors open, leaning heavily against the doorframe.

"Zelda!"
