The ship was sour. Remy had really said it best with his implied announcement over ShipNET. Zelda had heard it and the first thing she thought of was the overused line in all of the books.

Erol, on the other hand, was highly amused at Remy's post. Their little cabal, broken up and quarreling, while HE was making plenty of new connections.

On the less rosy side of things, his last meeting with Praxis had been quite unpleasant. It was starkly obvious that Erol should make himself scarce from Razer's room, at least for a while. So, he was back in his own, stubbornly ignoring the fact that he missed the other man's presence like hell.

That was probably why the normally light-on-his-feet Commander ran smack into Zelda. With a snarl of pain he staggered against the near wall, one hand holding his mending ribs and the other automatically reaching for a concealed knife. Not that he could use it at the moment... indeed, he never actually drew it, frozen too long by pain until he could look up and see who he'd bumped into (of all the stupid) - ...

Hm.

She was still wandering in her own thoughts when she found herself caught off balance. She swayed back and forth, nearly tripped over her feet and when she finally righted herself, she brushed herself off.

"Oh! I apologize. I do not believe I was--"

Zelda immediately cut herself off when she realized Erol was the one she'd hit. Well, bumped into, at any rate. She was still straightening out her hair and her tiara when she smiled in good nature. What a pleasure it was to see him. Well, up and around anyway, and no longer on bed rest.

"Oh, Erol... You look as though you are doing much better," she commented with a kind expression.

"Mmmh. Do I." Well yes, being on his own feet was doing better than the last time he'd seen her, but he was far from the state of top fitness and performance he was accustomed to. Not to mention he was leaning against the wall as his various injuries told him how unhappy they were with that last stunt.

Yes, he was going to take a moment before trying to straighten up. At least he was well-healed enough he didn't have to worry about tearing a stitch...

"A little better," she confessed.

Then she furrowed her eyebrows at him, "Did I hurt you when we hit? I'm sorry. You are likely still sore after all of that on the track." She hesitated for a moment, wondered what she should do. Then she decided to do something contrary to the ship's recent behavior.

"Do you need help?"
