(Greed, 'bout ready to fall onto his bed for a short nap, caught himself, if badly, and stared at his comm for a moment. He then swore, loudly enough that anyone in the general vicinity would be able to hear him, and snatched the thing up while he dressed in a flurry of activity.)

I'll be there in a minute, with another addition to the party.

(Storming from his room, his trench coat billowing behind him, Greed worked his comm to send a private, somewhat locked message to Kevas.)

//locked to Kevas, 40%//

Kevas, Zelda's got the jump and is going into Carnival. Meet us there, Now.

[Kevas doesn't bother replying. Instead he throws on his armor, arms himself, and darts out the door. Dammit, he wanted a little more warning than this. Barely anytime to prepare now, and he's not going to chance letting Zelda go in there by herself.

When he gets there, there's a different air about him. The seemingly perpetual grin is gone, replaced with stone faced seriousness. He strides next to Zelda, keeping his hands close to the sharpened steak knives on his belt. They're not his swords, but they'll have to do for now.]

[Greed's bringing someone else along? Zelda considers asking, but it's too late for that. He's already moved on, and it just means she'll need to wait.

She turns at the sound, somewhat stiffly and for a moment her frame tightens. One hand lifts, as though defensively--or offensive, as the case might have been--and the moment she realizes it's Kevas, she instantly calms. He is a worthy person to have along.]

...I know. Let us keep an eye on each other, yes? You, me, and Sir Greed.

...It's just Greed.

(Coming down the hallway leading to Carnival, Greed's dressed in his usual attire of mostly black: Sturdy boots, pants, coat, and shirt, simple in design yet of high quality make. His hands are in his coat pockets and he more stalks forward, making suprising little sound despite the heaviness of his boots.

He casts an eye over Kevas and grins upon seeing the Troll decked out for war. He gives both Zelda and Kevas a curt nod before stepping up to the doors.)

Shall we?
