Location: Some hallway!
Date: Saturday June 20th, evening.
Rating: PG-13 for pencil-in-eye.

( In which Jane goes through with her threats and Akagi experiences true comeuppance for the first time. )

Jane was following along at a distance, quietly. Akagi was a little prick. All right, that was normal, and actually she approved of it. Made him tolerable. However, he'd been a little prick to her and that was clearly unforgivable. Her hand was in her back, reaching for something to throw.

Akagi continued on, completely oblivious to Jane's presence. Danger? What danger? He would be resurrected the next if something happened, there wasn't anything to worry about.

Apparently, pain without death wasn't factored into his equations.

He pressed the up button on the elevator, lighting up a cigarette for while he waited.

As soon as he closed the door to the other elevator she was in the next one. Now the guessing game as to where he was going. She thought to all the places they'd met previously and hit the buttons for decks 8 and 4.

She waited silently and pulled a sharpened pencil from her bag. She twirled it in her fingers and the readied it like a dart as the doors to 8 opened. When she didn't instantly see Akagi, she hit the door close button and waited to arrive on deck 4.

Ding. Next stop Deck 4. Buffet, here I come.

As always, Akagi's pace was slow and relaxed. He paid next to no notice to the other elevator opening behind him, only giving it a quick glance over his shoulder.
