Jak hadn't smiled this much since he'd arrived on the boat, at least as far as he knew. As far as he was concerned, Daxter hadn't been on the Elegante in the entire nine months he'd been on board, and now he finally had his best friend back.
He sauntered into Sergei's, grinning like an idiot, Daxter perched on his shoulder just like old times.
Jak was being awfully clingy and bubbly; Dax couldn't remember seeing him like this since Sandover. Not that he was about to complain. Dark and brooding might get you a few sexy ladies, but it was hell for having a good time. With Jak naturally in such a good mood, half of Daxter's work was done for him.
Which meant he could drink! Hell yes! He suspected he'd need a few drinks to get through the night at this rate, anyhow.
Karis gave the two a wave from the bar, setting a couple bottles of alcohol on the smooth surface, followed by a large bottle of beer, plus mugs and a few shot glasses. Tonight should be fun. The zombie started pouring some libations with a sharp-toothed grin and waved at the barstools, "Hey kid. See your friend is alright."
Nodding to the zombie, Jak wandered up to the bar and sat himself down on one of the stools. He'd beaten the shit out of Erol and got his best friend back in just a few days. Things were GREAT.
"Yeah, this is Daxter. We grew up together. Dax, this is Karis."
