It had been a while since she had been able to wander the decks without running into anyone. The other passengers had kept to their own the past few days, and that suited Eon just fine. It wasn't that she was anti-social, just that all the ruckus had begun to grate on her nerves.

Eon glanced up at the sudden voice, turning around in the chair to face the newcomer. "Oh, um... No, I don't believe we have. My name is Eon, Captain." She shifted nervously in her seat.

Erol smiled smoothly. "It's good to meet you. I hope I'm not interrupting."

Nice little thing, he was. Erol wasn't entirely certain he WAS a he, but the style of dress seemed to suggest it, and Akagi had referred to their target as male. So.

"The truth is, I was hoping for an amicable young man to help me with a little project. I saw you, and..."

He seemed nice enough. Eon returned the smile with one of her own, making sure her clothes were in place. She remembered what Major Motoko had told her about keeping her secret, but she couldn't help it. Not everyone was evil, were they?

"A project?" Her eyes lit up. It had been awhile since she'd been able to do much of anything, besides exploring and helping Ki with the temple. "I'd love to help!"

Hook, line and sinker.

"Well," he started, sliding into a seat across from Eon, "I've got a - young protege. Promising, but needs training. Needs to think on his feet a bit more.

"What I was hoping to do is pit him against someone - like yourself - in an impromptu game of hide-and-seek. We would start in a location neither of you know, and flip a coin to determine who goes first.

"I would need to blindfold the pair of you, to ensure the location is a surprise. Still interested?"
