The road cut off behind them, and two thirds of the group was missing. It was merely less of a distraction to get closer to the tapes, in all honesty. Of course, he was there... Interesting.
It took him moments to scan the area before talking a step forward. He was accustomed to solitary work-- if not, work with one or two capable individuals assisting him, not an arrogant young vampire and two individuals he didn't bother to recognize.
Batou didn't seem surprised as the world shifted around him. This wasn't the first time he'd experienced this kind of reality shift, and as long as his consciousness remained intact he couldn't have cared less what reality was up to.
"Security tapes are that way it seems," he said, pointing past the red cabins that were marked ARTS AND CRAFTS. "We should work as a team."
Kamui was also not fazed much by the sudden scene change. He'd lost count how many times he and Subaru had jumped dimensions; none of them were the same.
"A team." He repeated, his tone flat. "I suppose if we must. I can't say how well I'll work with the big puppy."
Giovanni was rarely phased, and even if he was, his expression didn't alter once during this. Anything he felt was probably hidden behind his glasses. Instead a smirk spread across his lips.
"Team?" Giovanni asked after several moments, stepping forward. If that was the only way to move, then that was where he was going. "I don't think so."
