Van's reply is brief and evident- he simply shows up, knocking politely on the door before waiting to be let in. Of course, she surely knew he was there- He's not attempting to shield his full presence, especially not from another Herald.

If Kevas needs help, Van will gladly give it- and Talia, even moreso.

Talia was already sitting up on the bed by the time she finishes sending her missive to Vanyel, so when she 'hears' him coming it's not as much of a struggle to get to her feet. She pushes up at the knock, opening it for him without needing to ascertain who is there. If she couldn't recognize Van's mental signature, she didn't deserve the whites she'd been given.

She steps back to allow him entrance, her voice soft in her thanks, but no less genuine for it. "Thank you."

The Herald-Mage just smiles, the equivalent of a shrug and steps in. He's been avoiding speaking for the past day or so. Whatever was in that cure, it certainly did its job, and made sure one felt it.

It was what Savil had always said: 'How else could you know it works, if it didn't taste bad?'

"It's nothing," he murmurs, "Kevas is a friend. We're Heralds."

It's as simple as that.

Kevas takes some time getting there. His wounds slow him significantly.

He still seems unsure about all of this. Not because of Van's presence or that something may go wrong, but because he's uncertain about the strain it will put on Talia. It sounds as if she's gone through enough already. He doesn't want to put anymore stress on her.
