[Vie's at the party, happily leaning across the bar to get herself a drink. She could wait for the bartender, but it's something she is perfectly able to do for herself.
She's happy, glad that the boat has a reason to party.]
Marjorie slides into the party as if she were born there, whirling a decadently crowded platter of perfectly decorated cupcakes into place beside the punch. They're chocolate, or at least they appear to be so, but anyone who takes a bit will find that someone must have added Bacardi Chocolate Rum to the batter. The icing is caramel, topped with slices of orange and tiny paper umbrellas for garnish.
Nice.
She gives a wink and a grin to the boativersary boy, then makes with the punch. It can't possibly be a party without punch.
He watched her enter with the tray of cupcakes, remembering that yes, cupcakes had been promised. After she winks, he reaches for one of the treats and puts it in his mouth.
His eyes went wide as he looked from cupcake to woman. He chewed his bite and swallowed before speaking. "I have never met you, but I think I'm in love with you."
"Well, you're cute, but I'll at least need a damn nice dinner out or somethin', sweet pea," she snorts and gestures delicately with a very full glass of punch, "I take it y'like 'em?"
There's a Remy behind that bar! He's a little wobblier than he normally is when he's working, but it is his party and he's allowed to be drunk if he wants.
"Well it looks like you've gotten a start on the punch. People seem to really like it, but what else do you have in mind. I think I have a few bottles back here." Remy smiles a bit, amused by his own joke.
Gideon shows up promtply, and you guessed it--he's brought the cake. It's resting on a nice stand and protected by a clear cake cover. Placed on the stand is a two-layer chocolate cake with strawberry filling and a fudge icing. He even cut up little strawberries to festively decorate the top of the dessert.
The drummer wanders towards the nearest table, eyes open for a place to set it down.

You know, there's an easier way to get back there. I'm not horribly territorial.

Force of habit I guess. Perhaps I'll let you do your thing?
[And she sits back.]

"Let's...let's find a good spot for it." Because Remy wants to eat it. It looks fantastic.
