Hades was bored with Sergei's. Everyone went there. He wanted something... different. Wandering the boat for a little while, he found himself outside the Oceanview Bar. He almost glided right past it, but the click of glasses lured him like a moth to the flame. Pushing the door open, he grinned.
Hot girl? Check. Booze? Double Check. This was looking to be a good night.
Slinking up to the bar, Hades leaned on it casually, smiling at Torin.
She looks over when the door opens, and is clearly surprised to see a blue man with fire for hair come in. But she rescued a lion from a snuggie today, so she smiles cheerfully after a moment.
"Hello," She replies, taking another sip of her ghen. "I don't think I've had the pleasure of meeting you before."
"Name's Hades." Before he can stop her, Hades takes her hand in his, presses a kiss to it, which wouldn't be so bad if his teeth didn't seem so... sharp. Slipping through the bar, Hades begins to fix himself a martini, adding a few extra olives.
Riley's intention was to sneak into Oceanview (which wasn't a hard feat since it was fairly empty these days), grab a few bottles of her favorite booze, and take them back to her room as the start of her own personal stash.
When she arrives and finds someone is already there, Riley is already mentally pushing that thought off until the next day. After all, company is always preferable when faced with a choice of that or heading back to her room alone.
A smile spreads on her face as he gait grows less purposeful and more casual.
"Hey. Find something good?" she asks, noting the bottle near Torin is unfamiliar.
Torin is sitting on the right side of the bar this time, on her second glass by this point. When Riley arrives, she looks up and shoots the girl a lazy smile, giving a little wave with her free hand.
"I should think so," she says with the smile still firmly in place, gesturing to the bottle near her. "Ghen. You're welcome to try it, it's best plain."
"Ghen," Riley repeats. She stops in front of the bar and takes a seat on a stool. After grabbing herself a glass and pouring herself a finger of the drink, she raised it up with a grin.
"Cheers," she says before tipping it back at her lips and taking a sip.
It's good. Somewhat like a spiced rum but the quality is better than most she's tried. Riley grabs the bottle again to see if it's something made on Earth, but the label is surprisingly uninformative. She takes that as a sign.
"Not from my world," she volunteers, looking up to Torin. "From yours?"
silly riley, you expected earth people??fistsofmagicAugust 19 2010, 21:26:03 UTC
"Cheers," She responded in kind, lifting her glass before downing quite a bit of her drink. She licks her lips when she's done, and watches Riley read the label.
"Yes. Askoupur makes some of the best alcohol, but I'm biased," she replies with a small laugh. "Torin Navekha. Where are you from?"

"Torin," she replies in kind, nodding. She turns to lean back against the bar on her elbows, watching Hades fix the martini.
"Been here long?"
