[Herz suspects it won't be long before Marco shows up, but he's anxious anyways. He wishes the other man hadn't even noticed. It's starting to feel like his third trip into carni all over again.]

Marco notices all...that he can reach on the comms. Okay, he doesn't hack much when things are calm, but whatever. He noticed it. And it doesn't take him long to get to Sergei's, since he was just in his room and knows the path pretty damn well.

Its not hard to notice Herz is anxious, but Marco isn't sure if its 'normal-Herz!anxious' or otherwise, so for the moment he ignores it and puts on a friendly smile.

"Hey."

"Hey," Herz replies, giving him a friendly wave. The smile's a little forced, though. "Sorry, I-I didn't...wanna attract a--a-a crowd."

Marco nods and takes a seat. He understands; a trip into Carnival is something he'd rather keep quiet just to keep people from heading in there. Don't need more people in danger.

"Its alright. I don't either."

Herz watches Marco, sizing him up for what may be the first time.

"You're...y-you're just an average guy, right? No powers?"
