And in the Coffee Shop is Mimmi, sipping a cup of coffee and doodling inside a library book, which she really shouldn't be all things considered. But hey, her mind is elsewhere. She doesn't notice Jenny until she speaks, which causes Mimmi to look up in surprise. But she smiles and waves over to the person she doesn't recognize.
She jumped, walking to the woman when she was waved over. She smiled a little, standing up a little straighter and composing herself. "Uh- Yeah, I am. Just.. sugar in it. Please." She said quietly, leaning on the counter and inspecting the woman patiently. "I take it you live here too?" She asked, resting her chin on her hand and smiling warily. "I don't know much about this place... So, I apologize ahead of time if I seem a little scrambled..." She laughed uneasily.
Mimmi stood up with a little nod and walked behind the counter to get Jenny's coffee.
"I live here, ja," she said, picking up a pot of coffee and pouring some into a mug. "The ship is rather overwhelming at first, so it is very understandable. You get used to it in time." Mimmi retrieved a few sugar packets from a bin and slid them over to Jenny, along with the mug of coffee.
She smiled a little, taking the mug with a small nod. "So, I really am stuck here for ever. Anything I should know about this place?" She asked, standing up straight and putting the sugar into her coffee.
She hesitated before drinking, but finally did. She relaxed when she found it was good. She'd have to tell Jethro. She looked up at Mimmi and nodded, "Thanks." She said softly, setting it down again and leaning against the counter. She tilted her head and held out a hand, smiling warmly. "Jenny Shepard."
Having grown bored with his cabin, Jethro wandered out to explore the ship. He had been here three days, even though he felt it was pointless to keep track of the days. He knew his team had this joke, where they said he could smell coffee several miles away. While it wasn't true, three days without coffee was starting to take its toll on him.
He decided to explore. Somewhere on this godforsaken ship there had to be coffee. He made his way to the eighth deck and found that it was modeled after a mall food court. There was quite a bit to see and eat, but he wanted coffee. In this instance, his deprivation made it easier for him to smell out the coffee and made his way to the nearest coffee shop. He had no money, though, and he frowned.
Jenny looked up when she heard someone, glancing over in the direction she heard the footsteps. "Jethro," She called softly, "Over here. Please. Get coffee. Before you kill someone." She laughed softly to herself, looking up at Mimmi
"He drinks his coffee black. Nothing in it. As strong as you have it. I fear for anyone who might get in his way when he hasn't had coffee in so long," She said softly to the woman, leaning over the counter a little. "It's not a pretty thing." She murmured, smirking a little and glancing over her shoulder at her former lover and smiling sweetly. Even after ten years, she still got amusement out of his suffering- in the nicest way possible.
