Just as promised, deck seventeen has been outfitted for a party. The lights have been dimmed and incense has been lit. A full bar has been set up at each end and center of the deck. Hookahs sit in the middle of clusters of cushions and pillows

[In a desperate effort to not hover over his younger brother, Leonardo has taken to...hovering over other people he knows instead. Plus, if he were to be entirely truthful, it's fun to get their reactions when they hear his voice.

And it's fun to talk to people he hasn't met yet. People react so differently to your average Joe when he's not a giant walking reptile.

That's mostly my fault. I've been a little busy. [Whether Leo knows what Herz was trying to say or whether he was trying to change the subject, he doesn't indicate. Instead he fishes out his own strawberry and dips it into the chocolate before biting into it.

Stuff tastes different when he's like this; it did last time, too.]

[Herz starts around the fountain, mostly so they can talk to each other face to face. He can see Leo just fine, but the Not-Turtle seems to have to lean around to look at him.]

[Herz ducks his head to smile at his feet...then realizes he's doing it. He shifts his weight and forces himself to look up. His ears burn a little harder.]

Cutting it would be a good idea, especially if you're going to keep sparring seriously. [But there's that fear of knives. ...but then again, getting his hair cut would probably be a big hurdle in getting over that phobia.]
