I confess I don't quite understand this meme. How 'afeared' do you have to be of something to tick the box? For example, most sane people would be mildly nervous of heights - it doesn't mean that they are hit with incapacitating fear, or even heart-thumps-slightly-faster fear - so do you tick the box or not?
Yeah, that's what bothered me too really. For example, I really don't like needles; they've occasionally made me nearly faint. But if I have to have one then so be it. I'm not going to freak out, I'll just make sure I'm already lying down when I have it. So as far as I'm concerned that doesn't constitute a fear, as such.
I put down the things that give me larger degrees of apprehension, and that occasionally make my mind reel from just thinking about them. If I suddenly find myself thinking about it and it makes me worry somewhat, then that to my mind is something of a fear. :)
...whereas, in that situation re needles, I'd have ticked a Yes. To my way of thinking it's a fear you're resigned to having to face occasionally. Interesting.
