Hm... It looks like everything's in order, and I've left a fresh bowl of food and water for Alexander in case he wants it while I'm out. Time to get going, and hopefully no one will comment that I'm wearing tennis shoes with a dress I can find someone to dance with or chat with.  The workers certainly did a good job preparing

I don’t see why not. Though, as fair warning, I’ve never even tried to dance before in my life.

That's alright, I'm not all that great about it myself. Just as a warning though, you might want to turn off any electronic devices before we dance. My magic kind of causes problems with it.

I’ll switch it off as soon as I see you, then. I’m already at the gala, and replying through the communicator I found myself in possession of when I arrived in the City since I took that with me instead of my slightly less portable laptop.
