The sweet taste of ethical dilemmas

Kojiro, Musashi, Neville, Harry, Tatsuma, and whoever this Kurama person is... I ate a hearts signed with your names during my test to see if the candy hearts were consumable and if there was anything significant to the words, but I won't tell the secrets consuming them imparted to me. If someone wanted something to be known about themself, they ( Read more... )

Doesn't matter now. The entire network seems to know now...

It's not ethical to share other people's secrets, so still it matters to me.

Mmmm.... well, yeah, it's not, and I wouldn't share the ones I now know, but...

I seem to have acquired a crazy ninja woman who wants to do the task of acquiring a girlfriend for me. I wish she wouldn't. Not only should that kind of thing happen by itself, her methods are FRIGHTENING.

That's good.

...I'm not sure I want to know more details about her methods. The phrase "crazy ninja" suggests well enough that the ones used will be completely abnormal. What's wrong with letting someone take their time, anyway?

Oh dear, you got Neville's, too?

Yeah... I won't tell anyone, though I'd thought it would only be far to let people know if I got theirs and ate it during my test instead of just adding the heart to my collection.

That's true. I've been telling everyone whose secrets I've learned, too. But everything else is confidential, of course.

That’s good news; I’m glad I’m not the only one.

The sad thing is… if there is a candy with my name on it, there are already people who learned my biggest secret without my consent, so I don’t know if I would be upset at the City or not.

Yours was the most unexpected one so far and it was pretty interesting, so from an intelligential standpoint, yes; though I would rather if I was going to randomly learn a secret the owner told me. I haven't found one of mine yet either, but that doesn't rule out that someone in the City is eating my secret or that there's at least one of mine somewhere. Go ahead, and eat it and hopefully like the taste, if you find one with my name on it; it would probably only be fair since I ate one with yours.

I’ll let you guess which one, then.

What the Hell?! This is starting to feel like the needless blood reference week.…that’s so unsanitary the word barely fits.

[OOC: Strikes=gone, as usual.]

If you hold a secret of mine, then perhaps we should be better acquainted.

I feel kind of bad for the people who have really big secrets..

I honestly feel bad for everyone who is having their secrets revealed. Worse things have happened in the City, but I think this is one of the most embarrassing, if not damaging in ways that can’t be dismissed as just curse-induced.

…by the way, how are you adjusting to life here?

I.. think I vaguely remember being here before. I know I've been here during Valentines Day... The curse was different.

Nngh.. I wish I could remember more.
