Did a Friends cut after I was away for four months. All of you stayed with me and almost nobody cut me. But, whatever. The ones I cut never post (like me) and never commented (also like me). I'm going to go on a Friending Spree tomorrow or Monday and come back with @least 17 new people. Yay

I find shit dies down after a few months. People comment at first and then when they realize you're not a daily commenter because you only comment when you are moved, they get all nasty and don't retort.

So I thought.

Turns out more people read these journals than we think. I don't hold much in the way of comments. It's just nice to know it's being read by someone.I find some comments lack thought, but value when someone comments and it's actually meaningful

Every so many months I pimp myself out and get new people.

Are there still the Add Me communities? I tried looking but couldn't find them anymore?

But I value the ones who are on for a long time, even if they don't comment. Some people just check back periodically, like following our lives. Strange but true. I've had people comment after a year of not, and didn't know they were reading all along. Some people observe.

Now I kinda feel bad...kinda...okay, I'm over it.

I typed "friends" in the interest search and came up with a bunch. Doin' good really. I think there will be like five or six new people added just in the next hour. Let's hope I did a good job and everyone that comes around rocks. I'm happy with who I've found so far.

Its amazing how many friends you start acquiring by taking part of some communities. I have a few "debate" communities that I'm part of and a local Boston one, and I've slowly collected friends from that.

I think I'm going to do a friends cut soon as well...there are lots of people that are on my list that are there mainly for historical purposes (cause they have been there a long time) but only post once a month or so.

I do read your stuff, I just don't always comment...for multiple reasons...like I'm half asleep so the comment would be ridiculous (like this one), or I want to write a long comment but have not the time so I put it off and then never do it, ...excuses, excuses...i know.

And I don't update much b/c I'm unsure of how much I want people to know.

I like you too Eric! I just got a little crazy and started cut at my list and freaking out. I feel bad about the whole thing now after the weekend. I walked around being a huge bitch in the real world too and offered two really heartfelt apologies Saturday alone. Sunday I just ducked and tried to get by. I have so much going on and I'm trying to creat a whole new person and it's turning out that I'm being really harsh about it.
