Yup, that bit of respect has definitely gone down the toilet. I'm hoping she'll continue to think about everyone who is angry, and why we are angry, and will eventually gain an understanding of the pain that she has caused and continues to cause. It's incredibly saddening, yeah? When I first heard of the project, I kept hoping that she just hadn't fully considered the hurtfulness of it; but now that she seems to be willfully, blithely ignoring anyone questioning her ~~art, I am just so bummed.

*hugs back* Yeah, exactly. I'm not even really angry anymore, just sad. I want to keep on thinking that Amanda Palmer is completely awesome, you know? And she still is awesome in a lot of ways, but now she's shown herself to be really faily too. I wish it weren't the case.

Oh, I have nothing but extreme love for Lady Gaga right now, and I'm treating it as precious because I know it could all change any moment. Sigh.

Just curious: Have you heard the album, seen the show, or read the comic?

I haven't read the comic. I've seen the bits of the show that are up on youtube, and heard the songs on the myspace.
