Oh my God, I did not expect this to be as cute as it turned out to be. I was afraid there'd be so much historical stuff going on I wouldn't get any of it, but this was quite fun to read!

I totally see Tegoshi actually liking to be chosen as the princess and kicking butt along with everyone else afterwards. xD Also, Koyama's silliness is well-portrayed here, I think! And Massu is just adorable, even if he's a scaredy-cat! :D And well, Shige naturally is awesome because he's Shige, and he was totally sneaky when he went home to pee and bring the rest some refreshment. :3

The handholding is, naturally, the best! :D I approve of these pairings! And I very much approve of the ending as well! xD

hehe, in my mind 10-year-old Shige is a bit hazy on the details as well. I think princess!Tegoshi is more like Xena than, say, Snow White. hehe XD I'm glad you enjoyed reading! Thank you. <3

I agree with the other commenters and your warning. This is just too cute! Chibi NEWS is adorably sweet! I especially loved Shige's bathroom break and the hand holding.
