I definitely liked it. The black/white/(fading into) grey element for each sidestory was nice. The doubts and everyone's inner turmoil was so powerful, and gave a good insight into their mindframes. I like how in each pairing, they grew closer and got something out of the time spent together. And the issue of when a relationship starts counting, that it only does when you act upon it in public, it's such a common theme, but looked at in a different way for all of them.
"(though he could have lived without the tiny cupcakes with pink icing hearts... Koyama, however, coos over them.)" Had to quote that line. I just had to, haha. It made me laugh, but also... such contrast. Amazing. <3

I also like how, despite a theme that could potentially be heavy and (lol) grey, it comes off somehow lighter.
