I've been experiencing a similar work experience as I try to wrap things up here to leave them in a good spot should I find a new job elsewhere. It's frustrating to see things that have been going on since I got here that are still an issue, but checking off the smaller things that I finish feels good.

As for the Depends...that totally does NOT make you a bad person *grin*. TheWinterfox has threatened similar treatement for me when I'm pregnant cause I already have a bladder the size of a walnut!
