well, that and my late second/early third tri energy that has me going (and is a great thing). i actually want to DO things again that do not involve just sitting and staring in the laziest of ways. i've got five things on needles right now, two for our soon to come baby, one for chris, and two for me.

where i go on and on way too long about knitting stuff i'm working on )

I had a whole big thing about fair isle vs. intarsia, but I don't know if you want to hear it. I'm happy to post it though, if you want to tuck it away. :)

Fair Isle: stranded knitting. You'll carry the color not in use along the wrong side of the row. As a general rule, Fair Isle has short bits of each color on any given row, because you don't want those strands to get too long. If they do, fingers or buttons get caught in them, they'll get pulled on the wrong side ( ... )
