Pregnancy can make your headaches worse and have it so that you get them more frequently. So really, having a tall cup of caffeiene is not that bad as a headache remedy, especially if you are the sort of person that wants to avoid taking any kind of medicine (even tylenol). Personally, if I feel a bad headache coming on, I immediately drink coffee/coke for the caffeine at the same time as I take the medicine -- because headache medicine does have caffeine in it.

Anyway, hope you day gets better.

i always took excedrin for my headaches, which has caffeine in it, so i had hoped it would help - i'm glad it helps for you too!

it already has, thank you. pregnancy hormones + morning tiff = cranky lady. :P

It's not necessarily that you're Jonesing for the caffiene, it's just that caffiene is inherently a headache alleviating substance. I'm VERY easily affected by caffiene, and if I have it say 3 days in a row, I go through the nasty withdrawl headaches and stuff, but caffiene is a major ingredient in most migraine meds.

Sorry you're feeling icky today....*hug*

Unfortunately I work on Saturdays. But it is okeys. :) I really need to change my oil, and I have a strong feeling that Sunday is going to be one of those stay-inside-and-bum-it-with-baybehs day. And he's going to show me how to change my oil! Yay!

I hope that you feel better (if you were feeling worse for wear) and also that you guys have a blast on Saturday. :)

*hugs*

Before I say anything else, remember, the best piece of advice I can give you is to to what you want and feel is best. No matter what anyone, including me, says. *grin*

A little caffeine is okay. WATER is better (my pregger headaches were usually dehydration--they come on faster than usual, and a full glass of water made a major difference. your mileage may vary). I know those withdrawals, though. Hang in there. The end-product is worth what you're putting your body through.

i don't like to take anything that's even limited (except for soft serve - i mean COME ON) so the caffeine is as few as i can make it, and always well under the 'limit'.

i've been a water/gatorade when i can't stomach water/non-dehydrating liquid fiend since i got pregnant - always good advice! i am surprised i do not just work from the ladies room with my laptop :P tmi, yes i know. :P

will you be at faire on saturday? :)

I had thought I would be there, but at this absolute moment, I can't promise anything to anyone. A lot depends on things out of my hands.

But I wanna be there.

One other piece of advice? All the ab/other lower body workout stuff they tell you not to stop while pressers? Yeah. Do that. I wish I had.

I'll stop now.
