Yes, I'm nuts. Although a surprising number of people I've mentioned it to have the same phobia.

yes. me too.

happily, though, i share a phone at work (2 lines, one phone) so i don't have a red light there either. and after ten days? it's like the messages were never there.

Plus I can't stand the sound of the computer's voice.

In my youth, I was a temporary receptionist. I don't think that's the only reason the phone makes me twitch, but it doesn't help.

And the computer is a pain.

I'm a Gemini though, I ADORE voicemail ;D. and all other forms of interpersonal communication that indicate people care about ME! Even if those people ARE only telemarketers ;).
