Also this morning I learned of a Left 4 Dead mod that replaces all of the Tank's grunts with the heavy's fight-sounds. I am very aroused by this knowledge.

...Oh lord. I've only watched L4D vids (...gmods included) but I have seen the Tank. And that's just. The most hilarious thing ever in my head right now.

Well, yeah, "storm" is the easy description, but like... the sky was brown. And the sky was pretty much just a wall of clouds. And there was dense fog everywhere, and at my work the window I look out of shows the street curving down for a hill, with two streetlights, and and and trust me it looks like Silent Hill.

The Tank has provided some of my truly most intense moments in decades of gaming, to the point that just hearing its approaching growls makes my shoulders tense. The idea of instead hearing the Heavy mumbling to his sandvich instead is fucking wonderful. Oh god I just found out it calls for the Medic right before it dies. Tears, man.

Oh god, I don't think I could play that game in general. Besides that zombiephobic crap... well, I like fast-paced games but I think the combination of fast and zombies and FAST ZOMBIES would make me want to kill myself.

I figured. :( I am sorry. What if... what if I told you there's another mod that gives the Horde (the general, non-special Infected who run up in droves at the survivors) all of the Scout's sound effects?
