Elmer sighed as he stared at yet another report from one of their fellow revolutionaries. It wasn't that he wasn't interested in what the report contained. On the contrary, its contents was very important indeed. Elmer was just frustrated by the fact that it was snowing. It was snowing and he was stuck inside, alone, pouring over endless amount of reports. Whilst Stephan and Jura were outside taunting him. It was cruel. He would get them back for it later. Oh yes he would. But right now, he had work to do.

As his eyes scanned the paper in front of him, he heard what could only be described as a quiet 'thump'. His eyebrows joined together in a confused frown, as he raised his head and looked towards the window. A large chunk of snow in the shape of a splat was slowly sliding down the pane. Elmer rolled his eyes slightly before returning his attention to the report in front of him. His friends could be so childish sometimes.

Everything was quiet again as he shuffled the paper into the slowly growing stack of reports. All he seemed to do these days was work. Work towards making life better for the people. Work on reports. Work on articles. Work on organising people. It needed to be done though, and as the 'leader' of their group, it was up to him to make sure it was done. Pinching the bridge of his nose slightly to deter the oncoming headache, he picked up his cup of coffee and took a sip.

Hearing another 'thump', Elmer sighed before turning his gaze towards it again. Unsurprisingly another chunk of snow was sliding down the pane to join the other. This was followed in quick succession by another... and another... and another. Just what were those two up to? Were they trying to get him to come out and join them? The thought was tempting, but these reports wouldn't sort themselves.

Sighing to himself he placed his coffee back onto the table and picked up another report. He had just finished reading the first paragraph when an onslaught of 'thumps' drew his attention back to the window. The pane was completely filled with white. He could not see out of it at all now, for there was snow everywhere. Blinking in slight puzzlement and amusement, Elmer placed the report on to the table in front of him before standing and walking over to the window.

He placed his cheek against the window and tried to peer out, around the chunks of snow, to see if the culprits were still aiming at the window. He couldn't see anything, however he did hear a familiar giggle that did not belong to either Stephan or Jura. But what was the Crown Prince doing here? They weren't scheduled to meet for a few hours yet. Not that Elmer did not want to see his Prince. On the contrary, with how things stood between them, he never wanted to be parted from him. However due to the strains of their work, they had to endure long periods of time apart.

But if his Rudolf could take time out of his work, then so could he. And with that thought Elmer quickly grabbed his outdoor coat, slipped it on, before peering out the window once again. He had to make sure the coast was clear otherwise he would likely get pelted with dozens of snowballs. And that was something he did not want.

Once he was sure it was safe, Elmer cracked open the door and stuck his head out. That might not have been the best of ideas though, for he suddenly felt the odd sensation of snow being stuck down the neck of his coat. Yelping as the icey temperature of the frozen water hit him, he jumped out of the door and into his tormentor, who was shaking hard from laughter.

As Elmer tried to dislodge the snow, he kept shooting glares at the highly amused Crown Prince. "That was most unfair, My Prince. Catching me unaware like that. Do you know how shockingly cold this snow is?" This just caused Rudolf to laugh even harder, seeing Elmer dance around in such a manner. However his laughter soon turned into yelps of his own, as a snowball soon connected with the side of his head. He pouted as he turned to look at Elmer, who had finally rid himself of his snowy scarf, but found his vision blurred by white flakes as yet another snowball made contact with his face.

Elmer brushed his hands off, triumphantly as he smirked at the, now snow covered, Crown Prince. The smirk vanished quickly though as an evil glint appeared in Rudolf's eyes. "Uh oh." Elmer started before quickly fleeing from the younger man as quickly as he could. He didn't get far though before Rudolf caught up with him and launched himself at the revolutionary. They both landed in the snow, rolling slightly before they came to a stop, Rudolf led on top of Elmer's chest as they both panted from the sudden energy they had both exerted.

"Got you." Rudolf grinned down at him, his eyes twinkling with satisfaction.

"Yes, you have." Elmer replied, before reaching a hand up and lightly stroking the Crown Prince's cheek. "But then, you always do. And always will." He smiled.

Rudolf's eyes softened as he smiled down at Elmer. Since meeting this man, Rudolf had felt the happiest he had in a long time. Whenever he was with him he felt complete, and he took it upon himself to make sure that his love knew just how much he was appreciated.

It took no longer than a second or two before Rudolf closed the distance between them, and pressed his lips to Elmer's in a soft loving kiss. This man, he loved with all his heart. His Elmer. He didn't know what he would do without him. His life would surely not be half as enjoyable as it currently was, if he and Elmer had not met. And Elmer felt exactly the same way.

As they pulled apart, they shared a tender smile before the shocking sensation of snow hitting their heads made Rudolf roll off of Elmer and both of them jump to their feet. They briefly saw the smirking faces of Stephan and Jura before they turned and ran.

Elmer turned to face Rudolf and raised an eyebrow. "Shall we?"

Rudolf quickly bent down and scooped up a handful of snow. He compacted it into a tight ball before smirking at Elmer. "We shall." He said before tearing after the departing revolutionaries. Elmer laughed before he too grabbed a snowball and chased after his departing friends and love. The reports could wait until later. Now it was time for payback.
