sonic screwdriver! hee, i wonder how jensen knew that reference. man, that airplane scene was awesome! and the boat exploding. you write action sequences amazingly.
You continue to spoil me with such lovely comments! *blush*
Ha, you know that Dr. Who was playing on the mini hospital room TV while Jensen was emerging from his coma, and he imprinted on it and watches it every chance he gets. (He's disappointed Nine didn't last, though.)
The explosion was one of the earliest inchoate scenes for this story; before I really knew what the plot was about, I knew there would be a boat that blew up. *g*
the boat stuff was really impressive. did you already know that stuff, or did you research it? because it totally smacked of jargon in the best way. i was all aflutter over it.
oh, also, forgot to mention: LUFFED schrodinger's box. maybe *FLAILS*
and obvs loved the time paradox stuff. :D speaking of 9, what do you think of 11?
Depends what you're talking about - I did have to do some research regarding the boat size and speed, but I have my PADI Open Water scuba certification. (The "breather" is properly called a primary or secondary octopus, but I thought that was a little too jargon-y. *g*)
I have not seen all that much of Eleven! Just the first couple. So far I am pretty happy.
Come to think of it, amnesic!Jensen would probably find Eleven's crazy grin and floppy brown hair and flailing limbs HIGHLY APPEALING without really knowing why. *g*
I love your action scenes! The boat, that scene with Dean getting shot at in his bathrrom - they both got my adrenaline pumping. And I liked how in synch they were during the escape and for their swim.
YAY! This comment made me very happy. I enjoyed writing the action scenes, and it's great to hear the energy and synchronicity I imagined in them was conveyed. :D
