i was not laid off this morning. neither were mark, raina, or angie. lots of other people were, though, and lots in my department. there is a lot of reorganization and it's all very surreal

new york community, it's on kings highway and e 26th in brooklyn. my mom wanted them to take him to methodist or maimonides but they said it was too far, and there's another one on kings highway that i can't remember the name of that is supposedly better but they weren't taking patients.

i have a resident who used to work there. she (and others, i'm sure) refer to it as "cornell -brooklyn campus" because technically cornell owns something about it, like its right to give out degrees or something.
