I need to try to be less inhibited both literally and emotionally. I feel like I am stifling myself creatively. The combination of my perfectionism and my concern of being judged by not only myself, but others. Of course these are in my head.

We are moved into our loft and mostly unpacked. Magazine deadline is tomorrow. Leaving for Rochester Symposium on Thursday...

So much going on, when I really just want to settle in. But that will have to wait until this magazine is sent to the printers.

We are in Arkansas visiting our friends, will be until Monday. However, in classic style...the drama has followed us. Let me explain. Our landlord is always told before we leave for a show. I am working on a painting for the cover of the next Magazine, and Justin is finishing up the last of the articles. Today has been stressful. Taylor and Justin seem to have caught summer cold, so it is only a matter of time before I get sick too. And while I am sad her visit was cut short, I am glad that I will finally be able to get back to work. Who knows, maybe I won't actually get sick. I REFUSE ( Read more... )

So this week we have our niece (Taylor) is staying with us. She is interested in a lot of tbe same things as Justin and I; stuff her other family members aren't. During her stay we are doing art projects, mineral collecting, eating exotic food, and visiting art musuems.
