I like the way thief!John has found professional fulfilment in this fic. It's not hard to imagine him developing this way instead of the way he develops in canon.

And it's getting sneakily emotionally meaningful and romantic at the point they kiss. Which I love.

Part 2 is the final part, right, this isn't an extended series?
