Oh, honey, this is a long angsty sigh of perfection. The shifting POV is really a smart disunion/transition, and the alien dreams are lovely & weird & disturbing.

I haven't slept in maybe 36 hours and I still can't sleep now, so I'm enjoying this fic on many levels. It's so lovely and vivid and the angst is just that perfect bitter bite.

Might I also add that your warning made me laugh extremely hard. Best caveat hands down: This is dark. Don't be a wimp.
