Wow, what a wonderful read -- intelligent and complicated and moving. I was endlessly fascinated by the emotional dynamics between the three main characters. Your Bones is just amazing. *loves him hard* And the ending is gorgeous.

Thank you. My goal for the characters was to get them to a place of true equality by the end of the film, and balancing them was difficult. Bones...I'm so in love with Bones, too. I'm glad you liked the ending. I wanted it to be more than just about sex.

You know how madly and desperately I love this story, how much I've loved it for more than a year now, and I'm truly disappointed that it's come to an end. I might commence nagging, any time now, for the K/Mc/Pike follow-up,

In the meantime, I'm totally satisfied with the payoff to one of the most heart-wrenchingly honest, fresh, and truthful stories I've ever read. You never cut corners with anything--relationships, technology, words--everything is completely thought through and original. Your fretful, protective, flawed Bones and fucked-up but true-blue and brilliant Jim are pretty much the standards for my head!canon.

Oh, and the sex. Fucking hot. Bones owns Jim with the dirty talk, and he owns me, too.

You helped me so much along the way! You have no clue. This was a very cathartic story to write. It helped me work through some thoughts and issues I've had, but some points were so difficult to navigate I almost gave up. I'm glad I didn't. Finishing this was very satisfying.

There will be a triad follow-up one-shot, but I'm not sure when.
