I started laughing at the headers, and didn't stop once. I knew this was going to be spectacularly epic, and you soooooooooooooo did not disappoint.

And, you have a neighbor's advantange, but damn it, you wield it like a scalpel! That is one absolutely excellent McCoy voice.

McCoy's voice is pretty much my voice when I'm not in a professional situation. I didn't invent the bitchy southerner persona, but I've tried my damnedest to perfect it.

I laughed so hard I cried. This is the most epically truly McCoy bitch fest I have ever read. And then he started talking about nobility and being all the-McCoy-who-is-human-underneath-the-bitching and I cried some more. And then I read it again.

Someone pointed out that McCoy starting out harsh and then getting all maudlin was kind of like the general's scene at the end of White Christmas. And they were right! I didn't think about it when writing, but it is one of those cultural things that have invaded the collective unconscious, and then Bam! Infects fanfic.
