Oh, Apparitions! What a brilliant thought for halloween, I wonder if I can dig out my copy from somewhere in my storage unit for a rewatch... I still can't believe they cancelled the series, it was the best thing on telly for years...

YES!!!! I absolutely loved it. I remember that the first time I saw it, my immediate reaction was turn around and watch the whole thing over again. Such smart writing, beautiful acting - it really had it all. And it rewards rewatching! If only it had been renewed. Father Jacob was *such* a brilliant (not to mention refreshing) character. I would've loved to see where his journey took him next.
