Halloween Countdown, Day 1

I'd like to begin by sharing some photos I took last week. The historic Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill in Kentucky is the country's largest restored Shaker community, and its gorgeous grounds had everything needed to put me in the Halloween mood. Pumpkins? I love the pictures, especially the spider. And a homage to the dwarves of Lord of the Rings! I can see why it would be a great place for a wedding.

Oh, I love your Halloween posts so much! That poem is delightful and I'm saving that somewhere.
