I had a wonderful time at ConCarolinas. I caught up with some old friends, made some new ones, traded book recommendations, and talked Arthur Conan Doyle, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Suzanne Collins to my heart's content. At Jonah Knight's fantastic concert, I also got to hear a new track ("The First") from his next steampunk album, and it was brilliant. Ooooh, I found Jonah Knight on spotify and will give a listen! I'm a big fan of steampunk music, so I'm especially excited. And thanks for the link to the free HP book, too. Lovely post all around.

I hope you enjoy his music. I especially love his "?" song, which I find to be thoroughly chilling, and "Welcome to the Age of Steam."

Some of my other favorites in this vein are "The Great Edwardian Air-Raid" by Paul Roland and "The New Zero" by Rasputina. Do you have particular favorites? (I'm sort of a newcomer, really...)

I'm a very big fan of Abney Park. Vernian Process is also lovely. Johnny Hollow is also good!
