The Museum of the New South is in downtown Charlotte, and it's got sets from the last 200 years of history that you can walk through (and shoot in)...actually, that hat was part of the display, they had clothes you could try on from the period.

This was in Charlotte, North Carolina, although the model (#15746 on MM) comes up to NYC fairly frequently, I actually found her 'cause she worked with Brian Rawson.

Anyway, she works at the Museum of the New South, which has a huge exhibit on the history of the area over the last 150 years...and we got to shoot in the middle of it :)
