Art: Kith Oni Development Sketches
I was struggling to get the look I wanted for the more human version of Oni made for an rp, so I browsed through pictures that had elements I wanted to emulate/pick up on and to try out different styles.
Oh and Kith is a thing Xenix made up, where it's like humans with animal parts tacked on, so I'm using the term for now.

Whoa crap, she's showing some emotion! I guess she's a bit startled.
Breaking in my new moleskin sketchbook that I'd gotten as a gift (I like gifts like this!). Seriously, I should have just turned the book and drawn it larger ._.;; In this rp, Oni has the powers to commune, enable and control the dead. The manifestation of her powers are glowing wings long her back. And when she uses alot of power her hair turns white. She's in a huge amount of denial that she has such powers, but struggles to keep it at bay as sometime influences from spirits sort of "activate" her. Of course her hair doesn't turn white just from communing, but I still wanted to draw it.. This one was inspired by Savannah Horrock's art.

Still not satisfied with her, as I honestly hate how I draw people anyways.. so working on it. Got bunches more I want to explore with her, as well as showing her back scars and her with her husband, Abel.
