She didn't have any goal in mind today. Just wander. See what happened. She looked up at the sky, hands tucked into her jacket pocket.

She looked around more intently as she continued to walk. Nope, nope, bit too boring, nope, nope ... hmmmm. She paused. Right in front of her was a large, Gothic sort of looking building with an impressive fence all around it. She grinned. Now that looked interesting.

So while he didn't like it, trying to figure out why it was as it was turned out to be involving in and of itself. He found himself hunting down indicators of time passing, of geological shifts and new buildings, but he couldn't see many. The place seemed frozen, solid, too real. Nothing was breaking down.
He almost envied it.
And it was because of all this that it took James a lot longer than it should've to notice he wasn't the only person in the vicinity on his way back to the hotel. But he got there eventually.

"James?" She asked, her voice small and defiantly not sounding like the assured woman Helen Magnus was.

"Yes, Helen, of course." James walked to her, frowning. "I know I have been missing for a short while, but I promise you, I'm fine. You haven't been having that hard a time with Tesla, have you?" He quirked an eyebrow, trying to pretend that look wasn't cause for too much concern.
