That was not a voice that Sophie was expecting to hear.

She was starting to think that it was just going to be her and Parker, but now Nate was here as well? She wasn't exactly sure what this place was trying to pull -- she wasn't sure she understood this place at all really, but it was something. She made her way forward into the lobby and frowned.

"Nate?"

"I know," she said with a nod. "But it's very handy, really."

He messed with the phone for a moment before looking up to her again. "Anything else I should know?"

She shrugged. "Be nice to the residents? And you probably have a roommate."

"A roommate? Oh that sounds..." He sighed. "I like having my own space."

"I know you do. But I think you'll manage." She shrugged. "My roommate Angel is quite lovely, albeit a little strange."

He finally smiled a bit. "I'm sure you can handle it."

"Of course I can." She's been dealing with him long enough, hasn't she? "Do you have a room yet?"

"I don't know. I don't think so." He frowned. "Where do I find that out?"

"The receptionist should have given you a room key when you got your phone."

[sexycuzimbroken]

He started patting his pockets, frowning. Yeah, he lost the key already.

Sophie sighed heavily, before making her way over to the front desk to deal with the receptionist.

Then he found the key and held it up. "Soph?"

She turned back to face him again, before waving the woman off. "You'd lose your head if it wasn't screwed on." And she means that with all the love in the world, Nate.

He just gave her a timid smile and a shrug, as if to say Do you expect anything else of me?

She shook her head, amused, before gesturing to the elevator. "Come on. Let's get you settled."
