It started out innocuous enough. Parker had been reorganizing the few things she owned, when she felt the need to clean them. His doorknob rattling startled McGee out of his thoughts. He hadn't felt all that ...whole, through the day. People had ignored him down at the El Dorado police station and on the street. He'd visited Live Wire intending to chat with Abby, but she'd looked so busy and happy running the shop that he'd decided not to bother her if she was having such a good time working--It's not like she looked up to see him at any point in time either, Abby was one of the most observant people he knew, but sometimes when she was stuck on a task, everything else fell out of focus.

McGee moved from the living room to the door and opened it warily. Imagine his surprise to see a blond girl with a rag at his door, "Can I help you?" he asked, completely unaware that he wasn't... really there.

ooc: Parker, have a ghost at the door. What you hear and/or see of McGee is up to you! BTW clothing and his belongings shift with him!

Still kneeling, damp rag in hand, Parker glanced at the door that had just opened. With her head canting to the side, she tried to figure out where the voice had come from... and it wasn't exactly clear. On instinct, her hand went to her ear feeling for an earbud that would at least explain the floating voice.

"Hello?" Parker asked openly, trying to figure out who was talking to her and how.

Sophie was just coming back from walking Nate Jr., when she saw Parker in the hallway ... cleaning the door knobs. That was certainly un-Parker-like behavior, so she shifted the leash in her hands, before moving closer, trying to get the blond's attention.

"Parker? You alright?"

Every time she thought that she'd be okay with leaving the hallway and going back to something actually interesting to do, she'd realize that there was another doorknob - COVERED - in horrible germs. The viruses... plagues... flesh eating bacteria!!

Needless to say, she was going to ensure that all of this was cleaned properly.

"Can't talk, there's too many germs just floating around. Like no one even cleans this place!"

"Ha!" Parker's laugh was sharp as she shook her head, nearly scoffing at the cleanliness of the place.

"People touch these things all the time. Bet you didn't even think about what else they could be doing with their hands before they touch them!"
