The Doctor stood up next to the duck pond in the park, sans the ducks. He admired the craftsmanship of the item he had just created. Catch-A-TARDIS sounded silly, so he would have to come up with a better name for it. Rose sat in one of the seats around the still acting-up console, cup of tea in hand. Tea made everything a bit better, though its powers were sadly lacking when it came to the situation she was in. She let out a little sigh as she sipped at her tea and watched the monitor for any changes.

There hadn't been much for her to do really. Monitor the TARDIS, keep the Doctor updated via mobile, go get food or drink when she needed it ... and of course be ready at any moment for when the time came to really do something to end all this.

She was nudged out of her thoughts by her mobile as it rang next to her. A quick glance was all she gave the caller ID as she answered.

"'lo Doctor."

"Rose!" the Doctor said happily. "Ready to start piloting the TARDIS?"

She couldn't help but grin at the happiness in his voice. "Yep! Got the perfect landing spot all picked out for our grand entrance?"

Donna, with the help of her internal Time Lord tracking device, wandered up to where the Doctor was. She tucked her hands into her pockets, looking at the landing pad.

"Hadn't I mentioned Huon particles, big ears?" She asked with a smirk.

Despite her sarcasm, she was looking forward to meeting Rose. For the first time in the city, at least. Donna'd met her before. But now she wondered if Rose knew who she was.

Donna chuckled as he made no mention to her suggestion. That was the Doctor, all right. She leaned towards the phone. "Oi, he's got you driving that thing? You've got your blinkers on!" She couldn't stop herself from teasing, just a little.

The Doctor smiled at her. If Donna looked close enough, she'd see the Huon particles glowing on the platform.
